Worked example: 10 Pro referrals at month 12 = $78.00/month passive recurring. After 12 months on a given user, that user’s commission stops — the next paying referral you bring in starts a fresh 12-month window.

Common questions.
- How does the program work?
- Apply, get a unique referral link, share it with your audience, and earn 20% commission on every paying user who signs up through it — for 12 months from the date they upgrade.
- When do payouts arrive?
- Monthly, on the 5th. We process the prior month's earnings together. Payouts go out via Stripe Connect once you cross the $50 threshold; below that, balance rolls forward.
- What counts as a referral?
- A user who clicks your link, signs up, and converts to a paid plan within 30 days. Subscription revenue only — top-ups, free trials, and signup-bonus credits aren't commissionable.
- Can I refer myself or family?
- No. Self-referrals, family signups, and ring-fenced sock-puppet accounts get caught by the existing abuse-detection layer and are forfeited. We'd rather pay one honest affiliate than ten gamed ones.
- How long is attribution?
- 30-day cookie window. Someone clicks your link on Monday, signs up two weeks later — still attributes to you. After 30 days the cookie expires.
- Why 12 months and not lifetime?
- Predictability. Lifetime sounds great in a headline but eats our margin forever — which means we can't sustainably grow the program. 12 months captures roughly 90% of the expected lifetime commission for an affiliate while keeping the math honest for both sides.
